Listings & Criteria

Collectibles.co.in supports three types of listings to suit different selling needs:

Listing Without Price (Make Offer)
Buyers can submit price offers instead of purchasing directly. Ideal when you're open to negotiation or haven't decided on a fixed price.

Listing With Price (Add to Cart / E-commerce)
A fixed-price listing where buyers can directly add items to their cart and complete the purchase.

Auction Listing
Buyers place bids, and the highest bidder at the end of the auction wins the item.

Note:
The Make Offer feature is always active on both fixed-price and auction listings. It allows flexibility, negotiation, and is especially useful for bulk sales or when you have multiple quantities of the same item.

Click “Add Item”, choose a category, then provide:

• Title, short description

• At least one image

• Region & country of origin

• Condition

Leave the price field blank to activate “Make Offer” mode.

Optional fields appear based on category—filling them improves your chance of selling.

Like for philately - Mint, Theme, Cancel type and so forth.

Click “Add Item”, choose a category, then provide:

• Title, short description

• At least one image

• Region & country of origin

• Condition

• Retail price (inclusive of GST)

This enables “Add to Cart” and also auto-enables “Make Offer” for negotiation.

e.g. If you put price of 1000/-, Actual invoicing price is 847.46/- and GST is 152.54 (assuming 18% GST). Philately is 5%

To list an item for auction, go to the Auction tab and click Create.

This will display a list of all your active listings. Choose the item you wish to convert into an auction.

While setting up the auction, you’ll be asked to enter:

• Starting Price – The price at which bidding will begin
• Minimum Bid Increment – The smallest amount each new bid must increase by
• Reserve Price (optional but recommended) – The minimum amount you’re willing to accept. If the final bid doesn't reach this, the item will not be sold
• Start Date & Time – Set when the auction should begin. Select Instant if you want it to start immediately
• Auction Duration – Choose how long the auction will run
• One special feature we offer is Proxy Bidding: Buyers can set their maximum bid, and the system will automatically place bids on their behalf in the smallest possible increments—only when they are outbid—until their maximum bid limit is reached.

Once submitted, the listing will appear in the Auctions section and will accept bids for the duration you have set.
